I have to say there is a special place in my heart for the H P Lovecraft setting.  I first found out about his work while watching classic 80′s horror movies including From Beyond and the Reanimator then moved onto his books.

Playing games in this setting is brilliant fun and I love the new Mansions of Madness game from FFG.  It mixes Horror, story telling, puzzles and some mechanics from Descent: Journeys in the dark into a game that really catches the imagination.

Also the minis are brilliant!

Now FFG are producing a dice game set in the H P Lovecraft world I can hardly hide my madness…sorry I meant to say excitement.
